WELCOME BACK!

It is so good to be back and the children have settled in well. We are extremely proud of how well they are all doing and adjusting to the changes we have made in school.

This week we have been focusing on letting the children settle in to the new routines and given them lots of opportunities to spend time with their friends again.

We have been looking at the book Here We Are by Oliver Jeffers and thinking about...

- where we live

- the similarities and differences since we were last at school

- all of the things we love about our world

- exploring our environment

The children have been fantastic at sharing their ideas, taking turns and listening to each other.

The children have also created their own class rules, been doing some simple assessments and used the class laptops to make their own name labels.

Don't forget that children need to come in to school wearing their PE kit on PE days.

Mrs Ellis will do PE on a Monday

Mrs Prophet will do PE on a Tuesday

Just to remind you that book bags only need to be sent in on a Monday and we will take in any books that have been read and children can choose new book banded books and sharing books.
