“Don’t think about making art, just get it done.  Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it.  While they are deciding, make even more art.” – Andy Warhol

Did you know the creative arts and creative industry play an essential role in the national economy with contributing over £111.7 billion, to the UK each year (2018). That’s equivalent to £306 million every day! Creative thinking and creative problem solving is now a ‘key skill,’ industry and employers are demanding in our future workforce.

The Art department at Acle Academy strives to build and centre our curriculum around developing independence, problem solving, creatively, respect, determination and aims for individual excellence for all our students. Each key stage provides a range of materials, artists, and techniques to broaden every child’s knowledge of the subject and wider cultural landscape.

“You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” – Maya Angelou
