Infant School

w/c 14/9/20

Year 1

This week we have continued to get settled back into school and used to all the routines.

The children have been brilliant at coming in every morning and have really enjoyed seeing their friends again.

We have still been reading, talking about and listening to the story "Here we are" by Oliver Jeffers and this week the children have been thinking about the importance of being part of a group or community, slowing down instead of rushing around all the time, looking after the world around us and being kind to others.

We had our first P.E lesson this week and the children were very excited! We practised moving safely around the outdoor space and starting and stopping when we heard the tambourine. We also moved in different ways and tried to make sure to avoid bumping into our friends!

Remember P.E. day is Tuesday and children need to come to school in their P.E. kit
