Famous HHS Chocolate Squares

A favourite from the school canteen! But can you make them as good?




350 grams Plain Flour
250 grams Sugar
250 grams Margarine
250 grams Oats
10 grams Baking Powder 
25 grams Cocoa Powder 
150 grams of Icing Sugar 

Preheat oven to 180


Melt the Margarine in a big bowl.

Add the Sugar, Oats, Baking powder, Flour into the bowl and mix well.

Spoon into a large dish.

Cook for 20 minutes.

Remove and leave to cool.

Place the Icing Suger into a bowl, add the Cocoa Powder and a tad of water then mix to get a thin icing consistency. Pour over the squares and place into the fridge for 20 mins.
