UPDATE: MONDAY 16 MARCH, 10:00AM

We have been in contact with Public Health England are following their advice to keep our schools open as normal. This is the same advice that has been issued to all schools that find themselves in similar circumstances.

We have increased the frequency of cleaning across all of our schools and will continue to be extremely vigilant about our pupils' and our staff's safety.

Some parents have chosen to keep their children out of school, however the advice from Public Health England is for children to continue attending school as normal, unless they are showing symptoms.

Information for Hirers regarding the closure of school facilities

Following the announcement by central government of plans to restrict the spread of COVID-19 virus by eliminating all non-essential movement, we have made the difficult decision to close all of our facilities from 10pm on Friday 20 March. Our facilities will remain closed until Friday 3 April.

We will continue to follow the Government’s advice on restricting the spread of COVID-19 and therefore may need to extend the closure period beyond this date. We will keep our customers updated if the situation changes.

The Wensum Trust will credit your account or refund the cost of any bookings that have been paid in advance for this period. We will also credit or refund any membership fees already paid by our Sport-A-Peel customers during the closure. Please contact our lettings team to discuss crediting your account or arranging a refund by emailing: lettings@wensumtrust.org.uk

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and hope that you will understand our decision to follow the Government’s advice in these exceptional circumstances.
