We're delighted to share details of the upcoming Open Evening at Hellesdon High School on Thursday 8th October. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to discover all that Hellesdon High has to offer and to see how they can support and inspire your child as they continue their educational journey through The Wensum Trust schools. Come along, explore the school, meet the staff and students, and find out more about the opportunities available to pupils as they take their next steps into secondary education. #DREAM

Have you ever tried putting a skeleton back together? Year 3 did a brilliant job of it! As part of their science learning about the human body, pupils worked together to piece together model skeletons and identify some of the major bones. It was a great opportunity to put their knowledge into practice, develop their teamwork skills and have a little fun along the way! #DREAM

Year 4 get creative with sculpture! Year 4 have been busy exploring the wonderful world of sculpture in their art lessons! They have been learning how artists can transform 2D ideas into 3D creations, thinking carefully about shape, form and structure. The children have been experimenting with a range of materials for their sculptures, including soap, and this week they began exploring wire sculpture using pipe cleaners. They have been developing their creativity and problem-solving skills as they discovered how different materials can be bent, shaped and manipulated to bring their ideas to life. It has been fantastic to see their imaginations taking shape! #DREAM

Year 3 Castle Creators! What a fantastic hands-on DT project Year 3 have been working on! The children have been designing and building in their recent DT lessons, putting their creativity, problem-solving and practical skills to the test. They have explored the features of castles, recognised how 3D structures can be made from simple geometric shapes, and used joining techniques to create strong, complex structures. We have been so impressed by the creativity, perseverance and teamwork shown throughout the project. Well done, Year 3! #DREAM
