🌊 Year 4's Adventure at Whitlingham Lake! 🛶 Earlier this term, Year 4 finally got to enjoy their rearranged trip to Whitlingham Lake, and what a fantastic day it was! The children took part in a range of outdoor and adventurous activities, including wall climbing, raft building, canoeing and kayaking. There were plenty of opportunities to try something new, challenge themselves and step outside their comfort zones. 🥊 Kickboxing Fun with SESMA! 🥊 Last week, our Year 3, 4 and 5 children had a fantastic time taking part in kickboxing taster sessions with Master Wayne from SESMA! 💥The children loved having the opportunity to try something new, learn some kickboxing skills and get a taste of what's to come. 🥋 These sessions were the perfect warm-up for our new kickboxing club starting after half term! We can't wait to see our children continue to build their confidence, fitness and skills. 🌟 A huge thank you to Master Wayne and @SESMA Martial Arts for delivering such fun and engaging sessions! #DREAM

🦉Year 4 Hawk & Owl Trust visit 🦉 We were very lucky to welcome Victoria back into school for the fourth year running to share the amazing work of the Hawk & Owl Trust with our Year 4 children. Victoria taught the children all about food chains and the important role birds of prey play in our ecosystems. They also learned about the conservation of peregrine falcons, including the pair that nest at Norwich Cathedral. We were delighted to hear that two chicks successfully fledged in 2026 and that the peregrines have returned to nest at the cathedral once again! 🪺 The children can follow their progress on the peregrine webcam. One of the highlights was the opportunity to see some magnificent birds up close! Victoria brought along a long-eared owl, a barn owl, a kestrel and a small hawk, giving the children a very special opportunity to appreciate these incredible birds at close quarters. What a wonderful way to bring their learning to life! 🦉 A huge THANK YOU to our incredibly generous Year 4 parents, whose donations will allow us to proudly hand over more than £120 to the Hawk & Owl Trust this year! 💚 Your support will help contribute to the important work of protecting these wonderful birds. Our Year 4 children will be sharing what they have learned, along with more photographs from this memorable visit, at their upcoming Family Learning afternoons next half term. We can't wait to see them share their enthusiasm and knowledge! 🐺 A little creativity goes a long way! 🦏🎩 Last week, our Year 3 children had a fantastic time taking part in a virtual author visit with Rob Biddulph, hosted by Waterstones! Using Draw with Rob, the children joined in with a LIVE drawing session, using the randomiser to create a very unusual character... a rhino wearing a top hat! 🎩🦏 There were lots of smiles as they brought their imaginative creations to life! The children also enjoyed hearing a chapter from Rob's new book, The Last Wolf, learning about the characters and discovering more about how he writes his stories. 🐺📖 A wonderful opportunity to celebrate reading, creativity and the magic of storytelling! 💚 #DREAM

🌟 Exciting clubs coming up this year! 🌟 We're looking forward to offering a fantastic range of clubs throughout the year! 🎨🎭🎶 Our aim is to provide a variety of fun, engaging and enriching opportunities for children to explore new interests, develop their skills, discover new talents and, most importantly, have fun!
