From Leopards, to Bumble bees and Giraffes to Spiders- we all joined in the theme of the Animal Kingdom and nature to celebrate Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday today.

Children learnt more about this inspirational man throughout the day and we talked about all the work he does to bring awareness of issues in the world around us. We were very impressed to hear that one of our children's Great Grandparents had even played chess with the great man himself!

In Beetles class they talked alot about the impact we have on the world and how it is everyone's responsibility to look after it and one of our Year 2's proudly said that he really enjoyed litter picking at the beach recently!

We are very proud to be teaching the next generation of Young conservationists.
