Friends of Kinsale Infant School (FKIS)
The Friends of Kinsale Infant School is a friendly, active, and supportive group currently run by three of our dedicated staff members: Mrs Clarke, Mrs Hills, and Ms Coleman. Throughout the school year, we organise a number of fun social, fundraising, and educational events.
Because we are currently entirely staff-run, we would really welcome more support from our wonderful school community! Your help in organising and running these events is a great way for you to offer support, get to know other families, and feel truly involved in your child’s school journey.
Our Aim & Activities
Our main aim is to help buy extra resources for your children which cannot be financed through normal school funds.
We love putting on exciting events for the children and their families. Our activities and events include:
- Movie nights
- Competitions and fundraising challenges
- Seasonal activities
- Sports day tuck shop
- Discos
- Sponsored activities... and so much more!

We Need You: Get Involved!
You do not need to be a parent to join our committee or to volunteer; carers, grandparents, friends, and family of children at Kinsale Infant School are all completely welcome. We also love to work with local businesses and the wider community, so please do let us know if you or a local business want to get involved.
We are always on the lookout for new ideas and look forward to welcoming new members to FKIS. You are welcome to join the committee or just volunteer on an event-by-event basis—whatever works for you!
