Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools from the Government in order to support disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers.

Pupil Premium is allocated to schools on the basis of the numbers of disadvantaged pupils in the school.

Schools are required to report on how their Pupil Premium has been spent each year.

They must monitor the spending and evaluate the impact on pupil’s attainment each year.
