A Grand Filmmaking Project by Years 5 & 6

Our latest and most successful film to date, S.I. Superficial Intelligence, is a remarkable achievement — a fully student-made short film created entirely by the children of Years 5 and 6. From writing the script to filming, editing, and production, every aspect of the film was crafted by the students themselves.

The film has gone on to achieve outstanding success, winning multiple prestigious awards, including:
🏆 Best Film at the Into Film Awards
🏆 Best School and College Project and Best in Festival at the International Children’s Film Festival of Wales

S.I. Superficial Intelligence has also been officially selected and screened at several major film festivals, including the London Sci-Fi Film Festival, earning high praise for its creativity, originality, and storytelling.

Inspired by the Norwich Science, the children at Burnham Market took part in their own Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths week. From building robots, to coding, problem solving and even Lego building, the children challenged themselves through a range of different activities.

Our children had the opportunity to display their work in a very special art exhibition at Burnham Overy Staithe Boathouse in June.
