School residential a huge success!

This week our Year 2 children went to Horstead activity centre on their residential trip!
They showed great enthusiasm, courage, and teamwork as they took part in a range of outdoor activities.
One of the highlights was canoeing. The children learned how to paddle safely and worked together to steer their canoes across the water. They had lots of fun splashing and exploring while building their confidence.
The children also challenged themselves with abseiling. Although some were nervous at first, they demonstrated bravery and determination as they climbed down the wall. Everyone felt proud of their achievements and encouraged their friends throughout the activity.
Another popular activity was archery. The children listened carefully to instructions and practised aiming at the targets. They developed their concentration and coordination while celebrating each other's successes.
Throughout the residential, the children displayed excellent behaviour, resilience, and teamwork. They created wonderful memories, strengthened friendships, and gained new skills that will stay with them for years to come. It was a fantastic experience for all involved!
