This training is for you if you are a UK based Reception or KS1 teacher (or senior leader) and concerned that your children’s writing is not as good as you’d like it to be. Open to all schools using any SSP programme. 

 

Maybe you’ve been told you have to do more dictation OR you’ve heard it can be beneficial (it's recommended in the Writing Framework) and would like to use it more in your class.

 

You may be unsure how to develop dictation in your class from term to term or in your school from year to year (if you are a subject/senior leader).

 

You might worry that more dictation will be boring for the children.
