Hellesdon Sixth Form

Year 12 Geographers

Year 12 Geography students enjoyed an action-packed enriching field trip to North Wales this term.

Students had a fantastic time learning in the field preparing for their NEA. They explored a variety of physical and human geography topics through hands-on fieldwork, including water systems in the Conwy Valley, coastal management at Criccieth, and social inequalities in Llandudno. Students had a fantastic time learning in the field, developing key skills in data collection and analysis, and gaining valuable insight into real-world geographical processes. They were an absolute credit to the school, representing our community values in a completely new environment. It was a pleasure to take them on this trip and hear how much they enjoyed it with plans being made for them to return on their own for a trip over the summer.
