Hellesdon Sixth Form

Facilities

Having spent over £278,000 on updating and upgrading the facilities this is now a fantastic place to both study and also relax for students.

The fully refurbished Sixth Form has a large Study Centre - a quiet, purposeful environment where students have access to over 70 PCs and laptops, staffed by a Study Centre Supervisor who is on hand with any issues that arise. The area is where students will spend allocated time when not in lessons to complete homework or research areas in subjects.

With our growth in student numbers in recent years we have doubled the size of the Common Room to ensure students have somewhere to relax and socialise during the breaks between lessons or at the start/end of the day. Students have access to a comfortable seating area, as well as a kitchen to make food and hot drinks.

Both are equipped with WiFi, enabling students to work on their own devices should they choose to.

"The new Study Centre and Common Room have a real wow factor about them. The Study Centre has a real, grown-up, university feel about it and allows me to complete my work in a quiet, focussed environment, away from the distractions of daily life. The Common Room is excellent, it allows lots of space for socialising and the new kitchen is great, meaning you can enjoy a hot drink or heat up last night's leftovers."
