Scholarships

We offer a scholarship scheme which is designed to assist students applying to the Sixth Form to strive for academic excellence.

We invite applications from Year 11 students who:

• Are predicted to achieve outstanding GCSE results, mainly at 8/9, with a minimum of four 8/9 grades.
• Will be enrolling to study A-Levels at Hellesdon Sixth Form.
• Are aiming to go on to university.
• Have interests which will enable them to make a contribution to the wider life of Hellesdon Sixth Form.

The scholarships take the form of a grant of £500, to support the costs of travel and study at the Sixth Form Centre.

Application Process

Applicants should complete the Scholarship Application Form below, and include the name and contact details of a teacher at the school who is able to provide an academic reference about the applicant's work during Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11).

We are looking for young people who have the potential to achieve top A Level grades and to secure a place at a top UK university.

Awards will be conditional upon GCSE performance and upon enrolment in the Sixth Form.

The decision of the Principals and the Director of Sixth Form is final, in matters relating to the scholarship awards.
