Head Teacher's Tea Party Mrs Robinson was delighted to host our Head Teacher's Tea Party, a special celebration recognising the fantastic achievements of children who have been awarded a Head Teacher's Award throughout this school year (not all are pictured). It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their hard work, positive attitudes, kindness, resilience and commitment to our school values. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Year 3 stepped into the role of real geographers recently as they took their learning beyond the classroom and into the local area! Armed with OS maps and compasses, the children explored their surroundings, identifying and comparing both physical and human features while putting their map-reading and navigation skills to the test. From spotting landmarks to finding their way with confidence, they showed fantastic teamwork, curiosity, and enthusiasm throughout the adventure. Well done, Year 3! #DREAM

Year 6 enjoyed taking part in a BT Work Ready virtual workshop recently, where they stepped into the shoes of a BT employee for the day. They completed interactive challenges that developed their teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills, while also hearing from BT employees about their different job roles and career journeys. It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to see how the skills they use every day in school can help prepare them for the world of work. #DREAM

Summer Reading Challenge 2026 We were delighted to welcome Paul from Hellesdon Library this week, who led two assemblies to launch this year's Summer Reading Challenge. He explained how children can take part by borrowing and reading books over the summer while collecting rewards along the way. Pupils can sign up at Hellesdon Library on any day except Tuesday, or at any Norfolk library taking part in the challenge. We look forward to celebrating everyone's achievements in September, when reading tokens and certificates will be shared after the summer holidays.
