Uniform
We hope that our dress code will encourage a sense of identity and help foster team-spirit.
School clothing in school colours, but without the school logo, is also available from local shops (e.g. dark green jumpers/cardigans).

All items of uniform must be clearly labelled. If you buy labels through My Nametags and use our school ID at checkout (67290) then Friends of Firside (FOF) received 24% of all purchases.
Our School Uniform
- Black trousers/shorts/skirt (no leggings or cycling shorts)
- White school shirt with collar (not a polo shirt)
- School tie (from Birds)
- Dark green V-neck jumper or cardigan (Logo version available from Birds)
- Black school shoes or full black trainers (no other colours)
Please note that we do not permit skinny trousers or jean style trousers.
Summer uniform: black school shorts and green summer dresses can be worn between Easter and October half-term.
Our PE Kit
- Plain black shorts
- Firside logo white polo shirt (available from Birds) or plain white polo shirt with collar
- Trainers for outdoor use
- Green Firside fleece or plain black sweatshirt / hoodie
- Plain black jogging bottoms
Our OPAL kit
In order for children to fully participate in our Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL), they will need the following items to be kept in school throughout the year:
- pair of waterproof wellies
- waterproof trousers or dungarees (to go over uniform)
- spare pairs of socks
Every day
With OPAL, we will get the children outside wherever possible, even if it is raining - make sure your child has a coat in school every day!
