Hellesdon Community Programme Charity Donations
As part of our Autumn Term Hellesdon Community Programme our Y12 students took part in a social action part of the programme which they worked as teams raising money for various charities and volunteering in the community.
Over the two planned days the students raised a total of £1285. 69
The events and charities the money was raised for were;
Christmas concert and raffle – Priscilla Bacon Hospice £200
Bake sale and games – British Red Cross £124.88
Hot chocolate - Brave Futures £157.86
Baked sale and sponsored walk – Big C £217.02
Bingo/raffle and coffee morning - Friend in Deed £77.20
Car wash and Slime the teacher – EAAA £212.71
Film and popcorn – Sedup £96.85
Animal Petting – Hallswood £100
Some of the students were also involved in a community litter pick and a visit to a local care home.
