Dear Parents / Carer,

For the after school club this Friday 20th October 2023, we would love to run a bit of a conker competition for the children. It will be completely optional for them to join in or not. We will also make sure that the conker fights are done in a safe and controlled way, and we will be suspending the conker to be smashed from a tree, so that there is no risk of fingers being caught. 

If your child is attending ASC this Friday, and they would like to join in, if they are able to bring in some conkers and a piece of string, that would be very helpful. I will also try to bring in some conkers, but obviously, if we end up with not enough, we won't be able to do the contest.
