RealPE at home
29 families are currently logged on and making use of the free online resources. This places Firside in the top 5 schools in the East region for engagement during the coronavirus lockdown.
Families tell us they are enjoying using real PE at home because it’s easy to use and is supported by an activity timetable to offer guidance and ideas on what physical activity and PE could look like each day. It also makes staying active and healthy more fun during this challenging time.
Real PE at home includes an online programme which supports families to be active, play and learn together. For children in Key Stage 2, there are carefully selected personal best challenges, skills and games designed for the home and garden.
There are so many benefits to being active, not only to our physical wellbeing but also to our emotional and mental health, especially in such testing times for all of us. We hope that the ideas help support you and your family to stay fit and healthy in the coming months.
