Hurdles, sprints, skipping and relays were all on the agenda, when our children took part in their annual sports day.

Children from Years 3 to 6 at Kinsale Junior School participated in the event, which saw them compete in house teams for the Sports Day Cup.

Each child received a sticker for taking part, while this year’s winning house will be announced at the end of term.

The event was organised by Kyle Hobbs, PE Lead at our school, which is a member of the Wensum Trust.

“Sports Day is an important event that promotes physical activity, teamwork, resilience, and healthy competition,” he said.

“It gives children the opportunity to challenge themselves, build confidence, and celebrate their achievements in a supportive environment.

“Events like this also help strengthen the sense of community within the school, bringing together pupils, staff, and families to share in a positive and memorable experience.”
