Action for Children

Offering free advice for parents and carers of children aged 0-19 in the UK, they can also support up to age 25 where a child has special educational needs.

 

Child Bereavement UK 

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. They support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying.

 

Children's health and wellbeing 

Guidance on a health topics for children, including getting active, mental health, speech and language, and child development.

 

Early childhood and family service (ECFS) 

The Early Childhood and Family Service supports 0-5-year-olds and their families.

Supporting those with Autism within Norfolk, services include a Family support service, offering support on an individual basis to parents/carers, children and adults.

 

Just One Number Norfolk and Parentline 

Just One Number is our single point of access for Norfolk & Waveney Children & Young People's Health Services. This includes The Norfolk Healthy Child Programme and Norfolk & Waveney Children's Speech and Language Therapy Service. Families, professionals and young people can also get in touch with Just One Number by calling 0300 300 0123.

Offering advice and guidance on a wide range of information about autism.


NATP 

Supporting families and professionals who are working with, or caring for neuro-diverse children, children who have experienced adverse childhood experiences in their lives, or children living with Developmental Trauma.

 

Nelsons Journey 

Nelson’s Journey supports children and young people in Norfolk who’ve experienced the death of a significant person. They provide a range of resources and services, and accept referrals from families and professionals for those who may need our support.


NSPCC 

The NSPCC helps children who’ve been abused, protects children at risk and finds the best ways to prevent child abuse from ever happening.

Supporting Smiles emotional wellbeing service offers professional mental health support to any child or young person, aged 4 – 14 years, living in Norfolk or Waveney or registered with a Norfolk or Waveney GP.
