We are a happy school that takes pride in our fully inclusive approach and our strong commitment to educating the whole child. We hope that you are able to get a sense of our fantastic school community through browsing our website. It is thanks to the supportive and strong partnership between children, parents, staff, governors and the wider community itself that we are able to achieve so much.
Visitors frequently comment on the friendly, positive and welcoming atmosphere at our school. Attendance and behaviour are excellent and we have a good reputation in both the local and wider community. We like to learn together, have fun and enjoy celebrating success.
Another fantastic week for positive Class Chart points during the last week. Congratulations, once again, to Jane Goodall house for another storming week.
11 Oct 2024It was lovely to have Steve Clifford in Giraffe class yesterday! The children all really enjoyed his visit and got a lot out of it! Just a reminder, today will be the last day Steve will be on the playground with copies of his book, that he will be happy to sign!
11 Oct 2024Meerkat class had an amazing time at Africa Alive yesterday, they enjoyed getting up close and personal with Elton the royal python!
10 Oct 2024Giraffe class had a great time at Africa Alive yesterday! Obviously, our favourite part was watching Sara feed the giraffes! The children were also trying to see if their tongues were longer than a giraffe's tongue!
10 Oct 2024Today, Year 3 have been listening to and working with our visiting author, Steve Clifford. The children have been using their prompt from Steve to write a three paragraph story about an imaginary land with a mystery creature. There has been some fantastic work produced and shared. Don't forget, Steve will be selling and signing his books outside the Emu classroom, under the canopy, at the end of the school day. It was fantastic seeing so many pupils buying signed books from Steve at the end of the day yesterday.
