We are a happy school that takes pride in our fully inclusive approach and our strong commitment to educating the whole child. We hope that you are able to get a sense of our fantastic school community through browsing our website. It is thanks to the supportive and strong partnership between children, parents, staff, governors and the wider community itself that we are able to achieve so much.
Visitors frequently comment on the friendly, positive and welcoming atmosphere at our school. Attendance and behaviour are excellent and we have a good reputation in both the local and wider community. We like to learn together, have fun and enjoy celebrating success.
BOB'S BACK... there have been some sightings of Bob the squirrel over the last few days. Here's some proof from the Year 4 classroom. #kinsalejuniorschoolnorfolk
04 Dec 2024It was great to see so many Year 3 and 4 pupils participating in Times Table Rock Stars club today at lunchtime. Mr. Collison is really firing up their enthusiasm to recall times table facts and the pupils are seeing the benefits of this in their maths lessons. #kinsalejuniorschoolnorfolk #ttrs
03 Dec 2024This afternoon, Year 3 have been extending their knowledge of colour to explore tone and shade. They used black, white and blue paint to create tonal scales ranging from white to black and from light blue to dark blue. They learnt about Vincent Van Gogh's painting 'The Starry Night' and shared their ideas about how the colours, tones and shades in the painting created atmosphere and made us feel different emotions. Next lesson, we will be using our learning from today to create some Van Gogh inspired winter paintings - we can't wait to share them with you!
03 Dec 2024Last Sunday, Ruby in Giraffe Class had a very busy day! Not only did she compete in the Regional Tumble & Trampette competition (winning a first place medal), she went on to compete in a Dynamic Dance competition afterwards where she signed to 'Unstoppable' by Sia. A huge congratulations, it was lovely to hear about it in our celebration assembly today! You should be very proud of yourself!
