At Firside Junior School, our brand-new carbon-neutral school building will provide an exceptional environment for children to learn, discover and grow. Our two-storey, purpose-built school will create a completely new learning environment, replacing the existing 1937 building.

Inside, bright, spacious and flexible classrooms, excellent natural daylight and enhanced ventilation will create inspiring spaces designed around how children learn. Outside, pupils will benefit from new play areas, improved sports pitches and a dedicated MUGA, providing even more opportunities to play, be active and develop their confidence.

Sustainability is at the heart of the building, with solar panels, high-performance glazing and solar shading helping to create a comfortable, energy-efficient environment. Every element has been designed with our children at the heart of the project — creating a school that is modern, sustainable, inspiring and ready for the future.
