Junior School

Return to school

We are really looking forward to welcoming back all children to school this week. Please remember that Year 3 and Year 6 will return on Monday 7th September and Year 4 and Year 5 will return on Tuesday 8th September.

We are running a staggered entry to and exit from school according to your child's surname:

A to I Arrival 8:35am and exit 3:15pm

J to R Arrival 8:40am and exit 3:18pm (approximately)

S to Z Arrival 8:45am and exit 3:20pm (approximately)

Year 3 will enter and exit school through the lower quad double doors on the playground (bikeshed end of the playground)

Year 4 will enter and exit school through the double doors at the front of school opposite the vehicle exit gate.

Year 5 will enter and exit school through the upper quad double doors on the playground (canteen end of the playground).

Year 6 will enter and exit school through the double doors at the front of school opposite the vehicle entrance gate.

There will be staff around to direct you should you need any help.

If you should arrive late to school and these doors are closed, please make your way to the main office entrance at the front of school.

If your child is attending breakfast club, the entrance is via the lower quad double doors on the playground.

A reminder that children should only be bringing to school: their lunch (unless ordering from school), a water bottle, a book bag, a coat and a pencil case (this is optional). Our water fountains are not currently in use so a water bottle is important. If children need to refill their water bottle during the day, they can do this from the taps in their classrooms.

Please refer to an app message sent out last week regarding PE / Games days. This week, the only day children need to come to school in their Games kit is Thursday. This is for all year groups.

Thank you for all your support with this. We know there is a lot to remember for the first day but after a few days, we will all have got used to the new routine and staff are available to help if needed.
