This prestigious accreditation, assessed by a panel of carers, recognises our ongoing commitment to identifying and supporting the young carers within our school community. The panel was particularly impressed by our dedicated staff champions and our school website, which they described as "amazing" for its clear message that here, "children can be children."

Our display boards were also awarded a Grade 3 'Excellent' rating for visually demonstrating the vital roles young carers play while keeping information accessible and "short and sweet."

While we are incredibly proud of this achievement, we are already looking at ways to improve further, including making our written agreements even more engaging for our pupils and continuing to source high-quality staff training.
