Heather Avenue Infant School Christmas Fair Brings Festive Cheer!

Heather Avenue Infant School was filled with festive spirit last week as pupils, families, and staff came together for the annual Christmas Fair, organised by the dedicated Friends of Heather Avenue (FOHA).

The event was a true community celebration, with something for everyone to enjoy.  Visitors were treated to a bustling array of stalls, a raffle, and even the chance to meet Father Christmas himself.  Adding to the magic, children delighted in seeing real donkeys, which brought smiles and excitement to the playground.

As part of the school’s 'Mini-Enterprise' project, each class worked hard to design and create special gifts for parents to purchase.  This not only added a personal touch to the fair but also helped raise valuable funds for individual classes, supporting future learning activities and resources.

The atmosphere was warm and joyful, with families enjoying the chance to come together and celebrate Christmas.  Staff and FOHA volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the event ran smoothly.  It was a lovely time had by all.  We are so thankful to FOHA and our school staff for putting on such a wonderful event.

The Christmas Fair was not only a festive highlight but also a shining example of the strong partnership between Heather Avenue Infant School, its families, and the wider community.
