From the beginning, the children were completely captivated by the music, the characters, and the magical storytelling that filled the hall.

The performers brought the classic tale to life with humour, energy, and plenty of opportunities for the children to join in. Laughter echoed around the room as the staff were invited on stage to become clowns, much to the delight of the pupils. Seeing their teachers in silly costumes and acting out funny dances made the experience even more memorable.

What made the day truly special was how involved the children felt. They sang along, shouted out answers, and helped the characters on their journey. The visit from Purple Dream Theatre Company gave our pupils a magical introduction to live performance, sparking imagination and filling the school with joy. It was a wonderful reminder of how powerful storytelling can be, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming them back for another adventure.
