Tag Rugby Festival

All the children went to a Tag Rugby Festival at Firside which was organised by North Walsham Rugby Club. Each year group had already completed some training with North Walsham Rugby Club at school and were ready to put their skills into practice.

The children were super at listening and following instructions and enjoyed the different rugby skills that they practised. After the event, the children said;

“I liked it when I wasn’t caught because I could run fast.”

“I enjoyed it when we passed the balls round - you pass it from your pocket and chuck it like a rocket.”

“I learnt how to catch a rugby ball; you have to make a ‘w’ shape with your hands.”

“My favourite was the stick in the mud game that we played.”
