Lots of the staff and children came to school dressed as a character from a book and bought their favourite story to share.

The classes had 'Book Tasting' sessions where our classrooms were set up like a restaurant and the books were the food.  The children got to go around and 'taste' each book to see which one they liked the most.

We loved inviting our grown-ups in to join us for a story in the afternoon.  Thank you to everyone who came along!

We love World Book Day so much that we included other events to celebrate, including a visit from 'Book Bugs and Dragon's Tales' who shared a wonderful assembly for the children.  We met a new author - Max Wrigley, who shared his new book - Sammy the Seagull and introduced our Class Reading bears!
