The children learnt all about what a scientist does, and told us that it's someone who asks questions, explores, and finds out how things work. We talked about different kinds of scientists and the exciting things they do.

Our favourite part of the day was doing a fun rainbow experiment. We used water, kitchen roll, and felt tips. Everyone was amazed to see the rainbow appear! Some children also watched what happened when they mixed together baking powder and different coloured vinegar. They watched it make bubbles, listened to the fizzing sounds, and mixed together the different colours.
