U13's Boys Rugby vs Greshams

Year 7 and 8 Boys rugby in their first outing against Greshams U13 team.

Today saw the U13 boys' rugby team (made up of year 7 and 8 students) take on a very strong Gresham's School team in a home fixture.

The game started with good pace and Gresham's finding the try line early while APHS found their shape. As the game continued, APHS started to make some great tackles and run up the pressure. By half time, Greshams had a comfortable lead but APHS were committed to making this a competitive fixture.

The second half saw APHS create two outstanding tries from Bryce W and Zac U to give APHS some extra confidence and continue to take the game to Gresham's.

Despite the score line, this was a terrific first performance from this new team and they have very exciting careers ahead of them on the rugby pitch. We are already looking forward to their next outing.

Thank you to the visiting Gresham's team and staff, as well as to Mr Hardman for coaching the team.
