This week we are re-reading The Gruffalo. After reading the book the children will write a sentence about their favourite part as their writing assessment. This will show us how much progress the children have made since Christmas. The children have been trying really hrd with their writing so this is their chance to really show us what they can do.

In maths we are assessing the children so we will be doing little tasks to check their knowledge, understanding and skills, These will be activities including ordering numbers, simple addition and subtraction, shape recognition, ordering heights, doubling and halving and sharing. We will also be revisiting number bonds.

We will be continuing to do daily phonics, reading and independent writing.

On Friday FOGG are holding a non-uniform day and in return each child will donate an Easter egg.
