Science Week & sunshine

Welcome back to the final half term! This week we are having lots of fun enjoying Science week.

At the beginning of the week we thought about- what is science? Each day we are learning about different aspects of science and carrying out some experiments. We are making predictions about what we think might happen and also answering and asking lots of questions to help us to understand why.

Here are a few photos of some of the things we have enjoyed so far...

Predicting and finding out how to clean pennies

Predicting and finding out how many water droplets will fit on a penny. Then adding washing up liquid. Can your child remember what happened?

Creating electric circuits

We have also been mini beast hunting, will become geologists learning about different rock types and will be working together to create giant towers!

Don't forget...

Please make sure children come to school with sun cream on and if their school hat no longer fits it would be great if you are able to send one in from home.

We had our class photos taken this week. Each child brought home a letter from with a QR code on, the photo will be available to order and view within the next few days.
