Primary & Nursery School

Year 4

Teachers: Miss Dowler and Mrs Cameron

Year 4 were very busy in the run up to Christmas....

We have thoroughly enjoyed ready Mary Poppins by P.L. Travers together in class. Even though it was written a  long time ago, it is still a really great story.

Our main topic was looking at teeth and healthy eating in Science. We had great fun testing our teeth for plaque with disclosure tablets.

Just before we broke up for the Christmas holidays, we joined with Year 2 to make Christingles, and with our parents to make Christmas decorations.

This year, the student council are continuing to run a reading challenge with the chance to win a small trophy for the class each week. The minimum time spent reading at home is three times a week. If your child reads every night of the week, they become a Year 3 reading champion!

Our class PE days this half term are Wednesday and Thursday.
Please ensure your child has the full and correct PE kit on these days.

Class Dojo will continue to be used this year. It is a great space where you can view photos, videos and information about what is happening in Year 3 and across the school. If you require another invitation to join, please don’t hesitate to ask.
