Art week
This week is Art week and we have continued our learning from “Book Week” The focus is again on the brilliant books from the Little People, Big Dreams series. Each board in our corridor will focus on people who are famous for different reasons. There will be explorers, musicians, authors and athletes. Look out for our own “Big Dreams” on the board in the entrance.
Maths
Year 1
This week the children have focussed on doubling and halving. We have doubled the numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9 and found out that the answers are all the “teen” numbers. We have also learned the fact that halving is the opposite of doubling so we can half all the “teen” numbers. We are also completing maths assessments this week.
Year 2
The Year 2 children are busy rehearsing for their show and they have their trip to North Walsham Rugby Club on Thursday so they are practising mental maths and quick recall of facts when they get a few spare minutes!
DON’T FORGET - Y2 Rugby Trip is on THURSDAY
Y2 children need:
Packed lunch, if not ordered.
PE kit and trainers
Sun cream applied at home.
Water bottle
Jumper/coat depending on the weather
Sun hat if the school ones don’t fit.
