It was fantastic day celebrating with the class of 2025 as they opened their GCSE results to find that almost three quarters of students (72%) had achieved grade 4's in both English and Maths, far exceeding the national average of 67% and in a year where results have declined across the country. 

Results in this headline figure have increased rapidly over the past three years from 59% in 2023, to 61% in 2024 and now 72% in 2025.

Additionally, the number of students achieving Grade 5 and above in both English and Maths has also significantly increased from 32% in 2023, to 43% in 2024 and now 49% in 2025.

The results were so good that ITV Anglia News came to record the day and interview a number of high-achieving students and those who have done really well despite experiencing adversity.
