Record Breaking GCSE Results Day 2025

The class of 2025 achieve the best results in the school history, achieving 72% Grade 4+ in English and Maths and 49% 5+ in English and Maths.

It was fantastic day celebrating with the class of 2025 as they opened their GCSE results to find that almost three quarters of students (72%) had achieved grade 4's in both English and Maths, far exceeding the national average of 67% and in a year where results have declined across the country.

Results in this headline figure have increased rapidly over the past three years from 59% in 2023, to 61% in 2024 and now 72% in 2025.

Additionally, the number of students achieving Grade 5 and above in both English and Maths has also significantly increased from 32% in 2023, to 43% in 2024 and now 49% in 2025.

The results were so good that ITV Anglia News came to record the day and interview a number of high-achieving students and those who have done really well despite experiencing adversity. We are incredibly proud of the accomplishments of this special cohort of students and we look forward to seeing them go on to achieve more brilliant things.

Thank you to Mrs Barker and Mrs Ryder for their hard work and organisation to ensure such a smooth operation.
