Young Carers meet Star the Greyhound!
Due to the success of being awarded a grant from Broadland Youth Advisory Board, we invited Pets as Therapy for a session with our Young Carers Group this week.
It was great to meet Star the dog and her owner Sue. It was great to learn what Pets as Therapy is all about and to learn about Star and the greyhound bread. Students got to spend time with Star, giving her cuddles and even helping taking her special shoes off!! Star was very relaxed and even fell asleep at one point!
