Homework

Homework plays an important role in helping you to learn and remember what you have been taught.  You will be set homework by your subjects with a variety of tasks including practice questions, reading and revision of key ideas/knowledge.

It is important to be organised with your homework.  Do not leave all your homework until the last moment – attempt your homework the day it is set to give you time to ask your teacher for help if you need it.  If you are set revision for homework it is especially important to space your revision out – cramming doesn’t work!

Your homework is recorded on Google Classroom.

If you need help with Google Classroom, ask your tutor to support you in your tutor ICT session.
Homework club runs in the library every day from 3pm to 4pm.

If you ever find yourself without homework it is always useful to make and use revision materials to learn the key ideas you’ve covered in class. This is especially useful for students in Y10 and 11 as any revision materials you make will be useful for your exams at the end of Year 11.
