Year 6 Transition
The current situation with Covid-19 has brought on many challenges for schools, including how to provide an engaging transition programme for Year 6 students who will be starting secondary school in September. A smooth transition for each child remains one of our top priorities at Hellesdon High School, and this page aims to share key information with our new families, ahead of September 2021.
All new students will attend one day of transition in July where they will receive a Transition Pack that contains useful information and activities. However, this page contains a few additional items to help students and parents familiarise themselves with our school and our staff, so we hope you take the time to browse through them. We recommend using a desktop/laptop computer to do so, rather than a mobile device as some documents may not display correctly.
If you have any queries or concerns regarding your new start, please contact your child's Head of House or a member of the Senior Leadership Team - their details can be found in the ‘Parent information Presentations'.
We look forward to welcoming you to Hellesdon High School and to being a part of your learning journey.
