Students Visit Cambridge for AI and Literary Discovery

A group of Y9 students recently enjoyed an inspiring visit to Magdalen College, Cambridge University, combining history, technology, and hands-on learning.

The day began with a guided tour of the college’s historic grounds. Highlights included the beautiful Samuel Pepys Library, home to the diarist’s original manuscripts. We were also told that the desk where C.S. Lewis wrote parts of The Chronicles of Narnia is kept in the chaplain’s office—a fascinating insight into the college’s literary connections.

Later, students took part in a fun and challenging AI-themed escape room, working in teams to solve puzzles based on real-world uses of artificial intelligence.

The trip was both educational and enjoyable, leaving students with lasting memories and plenty of inspiration.
