Hellesdon High School

Wellbeing Event 2026!

Hellesdon High School is preparing to host an exciting and inclusive Wellbeing Event on Thursday 23 April 2026, running from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the school’s sports hall and field.

Designed to bring students, families, and the wider community together, the event will celebrate wellbeing in all its forms through a wide range of engaging activities and support opportunities.

The afternoon promises something for everyone. Visitors will have the chance to explore interactive experiences such as a LEGO airport simulation with Saxon Air, where participants can learn about programming, flight planning, and robotics. Creativity will be in full swing at the Craft Carousel, offering hands-on activities including clay modelling, cross stitching, and making decorative items like money boxes and suncatchers. For those who enjoy a challenge, a special Chess Champions match will take place at 3:30pm, featuring a friendly contest between staff and student champions.

Active and fun experiences will also be available, including the YMCA smoothie bike, where participants can pedal their way to a healthy drink, and Warhammer painting for those interested in detailed artistic work. Music lovers can join Tracks to create their own tunes alongside a youth worker, adding a collaborative and expressive element to the day.

A key focus of the event is connecting attendees with local organisations and support services. A wide range of visitors will be attending, including youth services, mental health charities, community teams, and advisory organisations. These visitors will be on hand to offer guidance, share resources, and provide information in a welcoming and informal environment.

In addition, dedicated mental health support will be available through the school’s Mental Health Support Team and Headucate UEA, ensuring that attendees can access advice and support if needed.

The Wellbeing Event reflects Hellesdon High School’s commitment to fostering a supportive and vibrant community where everyone feels valued and empowered. Whether you’re looking to try something new, connect with local services, or simply enjoy a positive afternoon with others, this event offers a meaningful opportunity to focus on wellbeing together.

All students, families, and members of the community are warmly invited to attend.
