PE Extra-Curricular Report September 2025

Our PE Extra-Curricular Report for September 2025 is here!
FOOTBALL
Well done to our Y10, 11 and 6th Form boys teams who have all progressed through to the next round of the National Cup. The Year 10’s came through a nail-biting 9-8 penalty shoot out against Lynn Grove Academy after the game finished 2-2 in normal time.

(Year 10 Boys Football Team)
The Year 11’s put in a fine performance to win 9-0 against the same opponent whilst the 6th form team battled back from 1-0 down at half time to win 3-1 against Thorpe, thanks largely to a superb Matty L hat-trick.

(Year 11 Boys Football Team)
Unfortunately, the Year 8 team were knocked out to Aylsham in the first round.
In the Community League, the Year 7 and 8’s have shown great enthusiasm in their games so far but have unfortunately not managed to register a win just yet. The Year 9 team have made a mixed start with a win against Hewett and a defeat to Thorpe in their opening two games. Josh W being the star player so far scoring 7 goals in total across the two games. The Year 10 came out on top in a thrilling game against OVA with Felix H (3) and Toby (2) amongst the goals. Finally, the Year 11 team put in a solid performance against Reepham to draw 1-1.
RUGBY
Our Year 9 boys rugby team recently attended a rugby day at North Walsham Rugby Club. In the morning the boys were taken through a range of skill practices focusing on passing, running with the ball and tackling. They then took part in two games during the afternoon session, winning against Flegg and drawing with North Walsham which meant that the boys finished as overall winners.
