Women in STEM day - 11 February

Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) day was 11th February.

Teachers within our Science department are all very passionate about raising attainment and aspirations for all. Our Science results showcase this and we are proud to celebrate women in STEM.

Classes have been shown a powerful set of videos of women of our time from all different backgrounds making great strides into the STEM industries, one video features a lady from Norwich.

We have also ensured STEM women are represented within our teaching environment with some new displays that have already started to appear in classes looking very colourful.
