Come and see us at the Royal Norfolk Show

The Wensum Trust will be showcasing its innovative and inspirational work with its partners at the Royal Norfolk Show later this month.

The Trust will be joined by Norwich City Community Sports Foundation (CSF), Norwich Theatre, Lovell, the Zoological Society of East Anglia (ZSEA), North Walsham Rugby Club and Wells Sea Cadets, at the two day event on Wednesday 28 June and Thursday 29 June.

All the partners will be showcasing some of the programmes and projects which take place within the Trust’s schools to support the education, welfare and development of our children.

All the partner agencies play an important role in supporting the Trust’s ethos that education is far broader than just the national curriculum and that it has high aspirations for every child regardless of their background.

Some of the highlights of the two-day event will be bricklaying with Lovell, games with ZSEA and the CSF mascot Sportasaurus will be there to meet visitors to the stand.

Schools from across the Trust will also be taking part with a library corner for young children to come along to read books, take part in keyring making and a special activity which explores the different emotions which make us who we are.

Daniel Thrower, CEO of the Wensum Trust, said: “The Royal Norfolk Show is a wonderful opportunity to get together with all our partner agencies and celebrate our achievements in our schools - but most importantly, it’s also our chance to show the people of Norfolk what the Wensum Trust, and its schools, are doing for children, families and communities.

“We have many exciting activities planned for the two-day event and we are looking forward to meeting lots of children and families.”

Come and see us at Stand 279 on Avenue 3 to find out what the Wensum Trust journey is all about!
