HHS Wellbeing Event 2025
Our annual Wellbeing Event, which took place in the Sports Hall and across the School Field last Thursday, saw unprecedented numbers of students, parents and staff join us to engage in wellbeing activities, find out how to access support and meet some lovely animals!
Students enjoyed hands-on experiences such as pedalling the smoothie bike, throwing axes (safely supervised), whittling sticks, playing against a Chess Champion and creating their own musical beats. There were also exciting animal corners, featuring friendly donkeys, therapy dogs, and fascinating reptiles, which drew crowds and sparked curiosity.
The event wasn’t just about fun—numerous stalls offered valuable advice and resources. We were joined by organisations including Carers Trust, Alpha Inclusion, Menscraft, YMCA, the Mental Health Support Team and Matthew Project. Families had the opportunity to speak with professionals about mental health strategies, support services for families, and guidance on helping children with special educational needs.
There was also an opportunity for students to pick up a goodie bag, if they had purchased through the Rewards Shop, for their hard work and effort. Many other freebies were available, including stress toys and personal hygiene parcels.
Overall, the event was a huge success and a massive thank you to everyone who helped make it such a memorable occasion.
