Behaviour Support Mentor
We are looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Mentor to join our team at Hellesdon High school for 2 days per week.
Job Title: Behaviour Support Mentor
Responsible to: Principals / Assistant Principals
Terms and Conditions: Scale E, 15 hours per week (2 days) 08:00-16:00, 30-minute lunch break
The Behaviour Support Mentor will play a key role in managing the Behaviour Support Room, where students who are temporarily removed from mainstream classrooms are provided with support and guidance. The role will focus on promoting positive behaviour, assisting students in reflecting on their actions, and helping them re-integrate into their learning environments. The manager will work closely with leaders, staff and parents to ensure a positive and supportive atmosphere that promotes personal growth, emotional resilience, and improved behaviour outcomes for all students.
