Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Phase Lead – English Hub
Are you a passionate early years practitioner with a strong commitment to improving language and literacy outcomes for young children? Wensum English Hub is seeking a dedicated EYFS Phase Lead to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality early language and literacy support across our partner schools.
Working under the direction of the Hub Lead, you will drive the successful implementation of our early language and literacy programmes, with a particular focus on the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will champion best practice in Reception classrooms, providing targeted and intensive support to ensure all children develop the strong foundations they need to become confident readers and communicators.
This is a dynamic and influential role where you will support and guide Literacy Specialists, contribute to programme delivery, and ensure robust quality assurance across all EYFS-related activity. You will lead on key aspects of our work, including conducting approximately five school audits, delivering Medium Level Support (MLS), and providing intensive, sustained support to a designated partner school.
In addition, you will play an integral part in shaping and delivering the Hub’s wider Implementation Plan, bringing your EYFS expertise to support strategic development and ensure the Hub meets its Department for Education (DfE) key performance indicators.
