Space Explorers

The students who took the Space Explorers pathway for Curriculum Enhancement Week had a fantastic time exploring the wonders of space and astronomy!

On Monday 7th July, they visited the National Space Centre in Leicester, where they immersed themselves in interactive exhibits, learned about space missions, and experienced the awe-inspiring planetarium show. It was an unforgettable journey through the cosmos that sparked curiosity and excitement in everyone.

Then, on Wednesday 9th July, they took a daytime trip to the Bayfordbury Observatory, where they gained hands-on insight into the world of astronomy. Guided by expert staff, they explored the observatory’s impressive equipment and deepened their understanding of how astronomers observe and study the universe.

Both trips offered a perfect blend of education and inspiration, leaving them all with a greater appreciation for the vastness of space and the science behind it.
